How to Change WordPress Font Colors In Visual Editor

by Data Wrangler on November 11, 2009

Question: How do I change font color in the WordPress editor while the HTML editor tab is inactive – (not as a theme setting?)

Well Katie (aka acucatie) here is your answer. To the far right there are two tabs just above the main editor box.  Click on Visual tab.  Then click on the “Everything but the kitchen sink button”; see the red arrow on the top row.   After clicking the button the second row will appear along with the  finer editing buttons.

Have you changed ANYTHING in your install? Do you have a back-up? Always should make regular back-ups. Will look forward to a screenshot.

that would have solved my issue – but my toolbar doesn’t look like that anymore (it did two days ago) – I will tweet you a pic of what it looks like now. HTML tab is disabled – I can see it – but when I click it doesn’t do anything.
